Health and Safety
GBS has an excellent health and safety record which is maintained by implementing our health and safety procedures.
We are totally commited to creating a safe working environment on all of our projects and therefore continue to invest in the latest industry training and accreditations, which is highlighted by our recent winning of the Federation of Master Builder Award for Investment in Workforce and Training and our recent CHAS Accreditation.
Safety begins with the training of our own workforce, based on national standards, health and safety legislation, and our own in house safety policies and procedures. Every contract we work on has a site specific and continuously updated health and safety file, which contains various documentation including policy and procedures, risk assessments, method statements, COSHH risk assessments, staff training records and all LOLER inspection records. A main copy is kept at our head office and all projects are reviewed on a regular basis.
